Emami Cement Limited files DRHP with SEBI for Rs.1000 crore IPO. The issue comprises a fresh issue of Rs.500 crore and offers for sale of Rs.500 crore. The object of the IPO is to re-payment of indebtedness and other general corporate purposes as per the company. The company is a part of Emami Group which is India's top fast-moving consumer goods company. Emami Cement is started in 2007 and makes cement under the brand name "Double Bull". The company is in the process of setting up a new plan and it will strengthen the company with a capacity of 9.3 million tonnes per annum.
